Best pc for fsx/x plane/gta v?

FSX doesnt recognise threads but will take as many cores as you throw at it (up to 32 I believe). That being said, you want cores that are fast. So go for something that high frequency 8 core if possible. All the others will benefit to some degree by the same characteristics.

Something like this. You'll pay $1000+ for a octcore intel.

FSX: Steam Edition recognizes threads. At 16x speed simulation, it uses all 12 threads on my processor @100%.

It spreads out textures etc on threads but the real crunching of AI etc is done on cores only.

Multi-core Performance Work

1. Moved DEM loading to threads.
2. Moved terrain texture synthesis to threads.
3. Moved Autogen batch rebuilds to threads.
