Best PC Game Controller

What's the best PC game controller?
I'm going to be using for sports games, specifically Winning Eleven: Pro Evolution Soccer 2007.

I use a Logitech Dual Action USB gamepad.. Works flawlessly for the 2 games I play, Tony Hawk's American Wasteland & Winning Eleven 9.

I strongly recommend it because it is exactly the same as a PS2 game controller, which the Winning Eleven control system is based off of.

I heard that the Dual Action's d-pad breaks within a month usually.

I just use my xbox controller with a usb attatchment.

The two PC gamepads I use are the Logitech Cordless Rumblepad 2 & the Logitech Rumblepad 2

Both have the rumble feature and both work great! The cordless (which is my main controller) will work through several walls. They are both very fine controllers.

Hi Im having alot of difficulty witht he dual shock rumblepad I recently bought. First off there are two gamepad icons in my control panel, I find that unusual. I had another gamepad instaled before and after adding this rumblepad a new gamepad Icon apeared, it looks newer then the orriginal.

When I test my gamepad in properties all the buttons work well however Im trying to play nhl 2009 and I move my joystick but the player wont move.

I think there might be corupt files in my regestry. I tried the logiteck program to recalibrate and it says: error ocured while deleting system\currentcontrolset\control\mediaresources\joystick\dinput.dll\currentjoysticksettings

you could have made your own thread instead of bumping this old one.

anyway. uninstall the drivers of your old gamepad and that should fix your problem.

just get a wired xbox 360 controller, i got mine on ebay for $21 and it works great.

I also bought a wired 360 controller for 15$ off craigslist.

It works with my emulators as well...but I have a PS2 to USB adapter I use for it and I like the feel better cept with N64 and Xbox games.

Yes you need a Microsoft wireless gaming reviver they are about $30 on ebay it allows you to use wireless controllers and wireless headsets.
