Best screenshot taking program

For some reason FRAPS doesnt work for me, i take a screenshot and when i go to look at it, its all static (like on a tv with no reception). So im looking for a new program that can take screen shots. It would be best if the program doesnt take up alot of resources, isnt a limited trial, and doesnt watermark any images. It may be hard to find one, but if it's capable of using the buttons on the mouse to take it that would be even better.

Well, this is what I use. It can save as JPEG or BMP (I use BMP then convert to JPEG if I need to). It works fast, and I use it alot. One thing that doesn't match what you want, it doesn't use mouse buttons :(. But, it can use other keys. It says on the site, and in the program, that in fullscreen mode you must use PrntScrn or it doesn't work. Well, for some games that is true, but most of the time you can use whatever key you need. If your planning on using this for FPS games, and you use the WASD area to move, then Caps Lock might be a good key to use.

thats good for only taking 1 ss, but not multiple ones.

I actually downloaded the trial of steam and it works fine now, but thanks for the suggestions.

I would suggest that programme aswell. I use both fraps and UOSU and both work perfect. It will compress your pictures nicely to about 120kb per file (near high res on jpg) and u can adjust the quality from 1% to 100% depending on how big you want your JPG or you can have it so it takes large BMP files. Has always worked for me and never had a fault.

Heres a direct link to the download

EDIT: That link seems dead just follow his lol haha and also just ead your last post (didnt read last line) your problem is sorted :P. Ahh well.

It looks like a good program, but i dont like having to press the PRT SCR button, i'll just stick with FRAPS. But thanks guys

OK sorry to draw this on, but why don't you like pressing print screen??? I use fraps aswell :P, but well it doesn't work taking pictures of webpages and the desktop so its very usefull then. Anyhow glad to ehar ya problem is sorted.

PRT SCR is what i use for taking screenshots of programs or my desktop, but i use FRAPS or the built-in ones for games since you can take multiple screen shots, and i can program it so i press my mouse button to take a ss.

Ahh so you have one of these gaming mouses with many buttons im guesing. Well cool, thought you could do that with the programme I sent you but must me mistaken :P. Happy gaming.
