best set up for my budget??

Hi guys. I'm new to this forum. Seems like a very active forum so i decided to join. HOpe to get to learn and share good infos around. ^^
I'm planning on building my own computer which i've only done it once like 4 yrs ago...so don't remember how i did it but that's not my concern yet. My concern is I really don't have any idea what to get...so hard to decide...so many new stuff came out...lack of knowldge and all...
I'm building this computer for Games(lineage2,WoW,CS,and ect.) and trying to spend around $4-500(already got the monitor, mouse, keyboard). Is that too low? Anyways can you guys plz recommand the best set up that i can get with the budget that i have? Thank you guys so much for the help~!
 
That is very low for gaming. I could build you a setup, but it would not do very well. For that price, you might be able to get a Core 2 Duo, but generally you'd be looking at an Athlon 64 3500, maybe a 7600GT. It would be good enough to play games on low to mid settings.
 
thnx for the quick reply. If it's not too much trouble can you lay out the setup for both $4-500 setup and the setup that you recommand(hopefully not too much over my budget ^_^) thnx once again.
