Best soundcard/wireless gaming headset combo please!

I play tons of pc games in my spare time and I want the best 3d sound possible. I need the best soundcard and (wireless) headset. It will be strictly for gaming, no music. I was checking out some of sound blaster fatality series and they all look great. I just can't tell the difference between the best ones. Also i was checking out the asus xonar essence that is made for headphones but it doesn't have an optical connection. I thought that was the best sound possible. I don't know much about sound I'm hoping someone can point me in the right direction. Thanks

I have the X-FI Titanium Hd and I love it! As for the wireless headset, I cant help you. I never go wireless with headsets! I use a wired Astro A40 and it is very very good!
