Best Suited video card?

New Member
Hey i havent followed computers for about a year now and i have no idea whats on top. im looking at buying the following products and want to know what kind of video card would be best suited.

- Intel Core 2 Quad Q9550 CPU
- ASUS P5Q-Deluxe
- G.SKILL 4GB PC2 8500

i would rather an nvidia card but if you think im better off with ATI thats fine also
 
What do you intend to do/play with the card in mind?

and whats your budget? Power supply in your system?

budget is like hopefully less than 200 and i will be working with lots of different software including 3D work and playing some video games like Counterstrike source and maybe some newer ones

ah okay,well with a budget of $200 i would go with this....

Or look into a Nvidia 260GTX 216 core ...But the cheapest i seen it on newegg can is $202 :(

Now if you want to save some cash but still have a good card...
