Hey guys,

whats the best site that will allow me to create a free website?,i know a google search throws up loads of them but i want a reliable one thats not just full of ads.

I know with a free one,you dont get add-less and a domain name but i expected that,i just dont want one thats got adds all over the place.:o

one that also offers you templates to start with aswell,Im a noob :P

So ye,If anyone knows a good site throw me a link pls :):good:

I found that www.freewebs.com now called webs.com was really good. You got to choose your own theme and it came with loads of tools to allow you to edit the website without HTML knowledge.

Also there was a very small amount of ads. (usually a small long ad at top of page but that was it)

I would recommend them as I found their service to be really good despite nOt having my own domain name.

Hoped this helped :D

+1 for webs.com

go to free hostia, thats who I use and they are add free as well, I then get a domain name from 123reg(think thats who it was) and webforward to my free site.

If you can muster up some funds to pay for some cheap web hosting that actually runs decent stuff, I would recommend you run a CMS.

If you purchase a domain name from GoDaddy you get free hosting with just a banner ad on the top of the page and e-mail. All that for $9.99 doesn't sound bad to me. Better then any so called "free" hosting out there.
