Azurez uses WAY TOO MUCH resources, it often crashes and uses A TON of ram.
Very true, infact, if you watch the task manager you'l notice that every second or so the RAM increases slightly. I got it to go from about 30MB to 150MB over the course of the night.

When i did torrent, BitComet was the best for me. I couldn't even open port's on my router or configure it correctly, and bitcomet still worked good for me. the others i tried always sent back errors/counldn't connect/were very slow.

When i get back to torrenting i'll probly use BitComet again if nothing new is worth a try.

i think it comes down to whether you want to control your torrents or use less system resources. If you want more control then Azeurus. But if you want a light program then bit Comet or uTorrent.

But in the end it all comes down to you opening up the right ports, setting your upload to 80% of your max upload and what the tracker/seed combination is.

I am using a belkin router and i port forwarded and got a massive speed boost. It doesn't always work (tried on a friends pc) and i was getting 150kbs.

I use BitTornado. It usually works for me, no errors or anything. Happy with it, uses hardly any resources, and is easy to setup/configure (I didn't even have to set anything up).

Azureus for me, i only ever download big things overnight, so using a lot of resources doesnt matter to me.... if its using them then it must be using them to optimize downloading, so what the hey.....

dragon2309 :D

if you guys hate azureus so much why is it 20% in the lead i dont find it uses alot of sys resources i go on the internet msn music when im downloading i was going to ask whats the best upload speed ive got mine set as 10k ive got 2meg broadband

In Azureus, do you guys know how to do that thing like in BitComet where you specify a segment of the file you want downloaded first?
