Best Video Burner?

Hi, I am currently wanting to burn home movies that are compiled in to 1 avi which is over 1 hour long. I need a Video Burner that will be able to Burn a Video Disc for me. I dont like Nero. Does not really work with my burner. I need a easy downloadable one. Any Suggestions?

I would have to convert the video file to a Dvd File. Can I Put it as cd-dvd data dvd and play it on my dvd player?

It plays burnt dvd's because I had a burnt dvd home movie from my dads burner and it worked!
