Best Video Editing Software For PC?

Most people use Windows Movie Editor or something like that. The Free one but I want a professional one I can do more things with. I heard Final Cut PRO is the best for Macintosh but I'm on a PC.

How is the Adobe products for video editing? I use a lot of Adobe products they made them so you can interchange files of Illustrator into Flash CS3 into Photoshop etc. I kinda like that and hoping they have something like that with one of the Adobe products.

So what I'm really asking here are actually two things: What is the overall best video editing product available on PC AND which is the overall best Adobe video editing product available....(they have what seems like over 3 or something @_@)

In my schools TV/Film department we use Adobe Premier Pro CS3 for editing on PC, one of the best software out there for video editing you can do as much as you can do with Final cut.

I Highly Recommend it.

Best Regards,
Francisco

I'm using Final Cut Express 4 On my MacBook Pro and my Hack Pro ATM and its slick but I'm hoping to upgrade to final cut studio 2 (with final cut pro) and I use FX Home effects lab pro for my effects. But since your on a pc try :

Cyber link Power director

I haven't used them, but I've heard Avid and Adobe Première Pro are good.

Oh, btw, no offence to the ones that mentioned CyberLink Power Director, but my experience with it has proven it to not be professional software in the least.
