Best virus protection for my pc?

My trend micro titanium protection is ending soon and I was wondering.. What is the best antivirus stuff out there? I download many mods for my games and I am always worried that I will get a virus.

You can download Avast or AVG free versions. They are really good programs.

I use that antivirus *trend* for my work computer and Avast home is way better at cleaning and detecting viruses IMO

Avast! or MSE. I would also advise downloading Malwarebytes and doing periodical scans.
