I'm about out of space on my 500GB drive(~20GB remaining).
I plan to upgrade to 1TB or so, maybe 2 if I can find a good price. My question is -- what is the best way to do this without upsetting Windows licensing? Should I clone the drive using a specific program? Disk to Disk from the old drive to the new? I've used Ghost and Acronis before, any other recommendations?
Ideally I'd like to have my HD be exactly as it is now, I don't want to just format and move my data over, I want a perfect image of what I have now -- plus the extra space.
Additionally, I was thinking about buying an SSD just for my OS. This might interfere with what I'm trying to do above though.
