Better for Gaming? 19" or 22"?

The native resolution for 22" monitors is 1680x1050. 19" is 1440x900. Obviously, 1680x1050 will take a little more juice out of my video card to run games. Do you think my setup can handle 1680x1050? I play games like CoD4, GRID, FEAR, Madden 08, etc.

suprised no one has answered this... yeah you should be fine... 9600 benchmarks better than the 8800 gts(g92) right? Id go for the 22 def

you are definitely fine, i run an 8800GT with amd dual core at 1680x1050 and no problems even with crysis, definitely get the 22"

like others have said the 9800gt is fast enough to handle the higher resolution, and it can make a difference in gameplay.

Ok I'm glad to hear it. Right now I'm at 1280x1024 on an 18" CRT so I look forward to upgrading.

well i have a similar setup and it runs Crysis on my 24" (1920x1200) at a good, playable, frame rate so you will be fine.
