Better playback speed and gaming power advice?

Hey, new here..

Basically, I'm getting more into PC gaming (Such as GMOD) yet it's very slow when I try to play.

Watching videos online at 1080p is the video choppy, sound is perfectly fine.

Have a good connection to Internet and the package we're on should be able to play it back smoothly so I'm guessing it's a hardware issue.

I need to know what PC components it is I need to upgrade, and what I need to upgrade them to..

Here are my specs, I'm not sure if this helps ? I do apologize if it doesn't.

Cheers guys! :):):)

The problem you are having is you have integrated graphics. And the drive is most likely outdated anyway. You can try installing the lastest driver and see if that helps.

Video Card ATI Radeon 3000 Graphics

You will need a dedicated video card to do any decent gaming. Also make sure you have the latest version of flash player if you are talking about youtube videos or the like. Most online videos require flash player.

Thanks for all the replies guys, very appreciated!

I'm a complete newbie to upgrading PC's so could you explain what you mean by what power supply does it have?

So integrated graphics is bad?

So basically I need a new video card? Could someone please point out which would be a step up from the one I have now? As I wouldn't know if it would fit proper or anything

I also have my PC hooked up to a 42 inch screen telly I'm not sure if that has any effect on making the videos choppy or games slow/laggy? (Never did when I first got it and have had it a few years or so)

The power supply is what gives everything power to run. I'm assuming this an HP computer? What is the model number of pc you have? They have cheap power supplies in them only capable of running whats already in the pc. Adding a video card would require getting a better power supply. You have to be careful about what video card you get as it might not have enough room in your case since this is most likely an HP computer.

What version of flash player do you have? Have you tried updating video driver?
