Better than windows Remote assistance?

I am looking for a piece of software (preferably shareware obviously!) that is a major refinement on the Microsoft remote assistance software. Does anybody know of anything that gives a smoother, faster and more responsive signal? Ideally I want to be able to watch movies via the software, that’s the kind of refinement I need! Any help very much appreciated.

There are some web based applications, some paid some free, just search around google for a coulpe minutes and you'll find something. I haven't actually tried any myself although I'm going to try LogMeIn as soon as I get around to it. ( https://secure.logmein.com/go.asp?page=products_free )

You could always use GoToMyPC that way, people can give you log in details and you can access their computers but thats really dangerous sometimes

I suggest www.handyarchive.net they have some very nice Sharware/Freetrials on it. For remote admin but you have to be on a network
