Of course not, demos are never the full game, that's why they're free(most of the time).
Demo = Demonstration(or demolition)

Because it has an online option, or rather only an online option. The full game, which should be released tommorow or Wednesday, should have a single player mode...

Because a demo gives you a chance to play a game to see what the actual game play will be like. In this case They included only online game play in the demo. You download a very small portion of what the game will be and go online and play. There is only one map included in the demo. There will be many more plus much more content in the full game.
