BF2 closes everytime i click star game

On BF2 I will load up all the server details like animation etc. then when i click start game it will just close and throw me onto the desktop.

Anything I can do?

Have you tried re-installing the game?

Make sure you have the latest Driver for your video card. Make sure you have Directx 9...

are u using the PC in ur sig

yeah im using the PC in sig, up to date vid drivers, up to date patch. I dont really wanna reinstall otherwise i gotta download a big patch which will take ages!

BF2 just does this sometimes, happens to everyone i know, you probally got bad luck and it happend a few times in a row.
