Great game.

Frustrating when people on the server aren't taking things seriously, but completely immersing whenever they are. I have had some very intense moments with that game. I like it because it limits vehicles, so you don't see a noob chopper pilot fly by every 10 seconds and then bail because he was using it as a personal transport. Vehicles are taken very seriously, and if you waste one, your team is going to be very pissed at you. Jets take forever to respawn, I think somewhere around 45 minutes, and helicopters are almost as bad. The result is them being treated like valuable assets, which is what they are in reality.

The squad system also works very well.

If you want a more in depth, tactical, realistic, and serious experience than BF2, PR is a great mod to play.

Whoa, this is seriously going to go over well with my friends. They love games with more in-depth tactics, but when I showed them BF2 and went into a multi-player game, they abandoned it because of the dolphin diving and bunny hopping. But it's taking sooooooo long to download xD

I hated it; it crashed constantly and the gameplay was so slow that it needed 5 tow ropes! I remember trying to look around the map for some random objective and spending a good 45 minutes attempting to find it >.>. We never did win that map...

It might just be me but I thought it was incredibly boring.

It's really the strategy aspect of it, not abandoning your post and camping out a region that your SL tells you to, advancing with the squad, providing grappling hooks, medic/MG support, etc. I just installed it and it's really awesome! :D:good:

Been playing vanilla BF2 for 4 years now, i still havent given this ago, i might have to! Are there still plenty of players who use pr?

Definitely not as much as unmodded BF2, about 100 or so servers. Only about like 20 are playable because of lack of people in the other 80 xD, but you only need 1 server to have a great game. The games now take like 1 hour+ long xD
