By ranking up, Afer you get a rank up, the next time you log in a screen will come up to pick a new wepon to unlock.

If it doesn't pop up try waiting a day.

On some (many actually !) BF 2 servers, all weapons are alerady unlocked

Or you can just edit a file called unlocks.py in ...\Battlefield 2\python\bf2\stats. Open it with Notepad and search for defaultUnlocks = [0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0] and change all the 0's to 1's.

This only works in the retail version of the game, patch the game and it won't work, ever. Unless you reinstall the game and don't patch.

And only use it for single player, because once you play it online, which you really can't without a patch anyway, its pretty much an immediate ban.
