BF2 Update problem

Ok, I downloaded the BF2 V 1.03 update today, I install it and start the game, and it says I'm still V 1.02!! Ok, I reboot my machine and try again. Same thing. I try downloading the patch from a different site, still doesn't work!! How the f*ck do I get this POS to work!!!

dunno, it still says im of v1.02 too. do you notice any difference in it?

Nope, no servers are on wake island, and it keeps saying when I sign in that EA has a message for me and it says "accept" or "close" when I click accept it takes me to a web page showing V 1.03, which I already installed!!!

try re-installing it straight to 1.03

Ok, it seems to be like 1.03..... however there is no wake island. I notice some small differences, but I want my map!!

get it from somewhere else. ive heard of people not getting wake island, but they reinstalled from somewhere different. dont click open on the message at the beg.

I didnt click open at the beginning, i hit save, and I downloaded it from www.gamershell.com and www.filefront.com I am a member at www.fileplanet.com but I dont feel like waiting a half hour in line, but I guess i'll have to.
