.bin to .iso

Hi all. I am wondering how to successfully turn a .bin into a .iso. I have opened a .bin file in poweriso and 'saved as' as an iso image, but it won't work.

Is there a better way?? Any help would be greatly appreciated. thank you.:)

I used that program and it works the same as poweriso. I can't make the iso ive saved playable with alcahol 120%.

When i mount the newly created iso (from bin, not cue) I get nothing. i open the iso file and i have 4 files called: EXT, MPEGAV, SEGMENT and VCD.

There is something missing in the converting process. These ISO's won't work normally. thank you for the help.

What it has done is it open it as the ROOT files.. Meaning it opens it in winISO as it really looks. All those files create a VCD.

i understand that, but when i mount the iso that contains these files that make a videocd (which is how it is labeled in 'my computer'), i can't play it in powerdvd or media player... how do i play this? or more importantly, burn this with alcahol 120%.. thanks a lot... :)

^thats where i found this out (quite some time ago i might add, ive had the need to convert bin files as well). has all sorts of info about all different filetypes and what programs use the filetypes.
just make sure the bin file has its root file (what filetype is it again?) in the same folder with it.

that program won't work either. it keeps crashing.

Is there a way to just burn either the .bin or .cue file? Alcahol recognizes the .cue file, but won't let me burn it. It brings up an error that says 'empty disc'..

which program will burn a .bin/.cue to dvd for me, so it can be played on any commercial dvd player?.. thank you so much.:)
