Hi,
I have a HP laptop: DV6 1030eb, and last I was checking the site of HP. There I saw an update for my laptop's bios so i installed this update. But now my pc is running slower, and getting very hot. the brand of the bios is insyde. there used to be an starting screen wich said H2O insyde bios... this screen isn't there anymore. I think the update overwrite some important things of insyde software ...
I would like to get some help on this so that my laptop can act normal again.

Was there any particular reason why you updated the bios? You should never update the bios unless it fixes an issue you are currently having with your system. You most likely will have to call Hp for support now as its their update.

Could you not do a System Restore?

System restore WILL NOT put the old bios back on.

It could be as easy as going into the bios and check the settings to be sure everything is correct. When you update the bios it puts all settings back to default but depending on how the system is setup, might have to change a setting or 2.

Then like I said you may need to call HP for support since you have updated the bios. There may be a way to put the old one back on but you would have to get help from HP.
