bios jumper

What the heck are you talking about? All the ram adjustments are done in the bios and you don't need to jump anything for it. If your system is from a big oem manufacturer you may be limited on memory settings. If its a custom build then most likely you can adjust your settings.

my computer is totally compatible ive checked it out but the problem is I have no display, internal video, no beeps monitor is good im thinking i have bad ram, every thing comes on and no dice

Recheck all pci cards, memory, cables for secure fit. All it takes is a something a little out of wack and it won't boot.

Can I put the switch to jump mode to see if i cant adjust my ram? and is there a down side?

thanks

Are you talking about resetting the bios by the jumper on the board?

Unless you have changed the memory settings its not going to do anything to the memory settings. It just sets everything back to default.
