bios problem gigabyte GA-6BXE

I have a Advent 8700 pc with a gigabyte GA-6BXE VER 1.9 MOTHERBOARD BIOS 01/25/1999 i440BX-8671-2A69KG0EC-00 ,INTEL PENT 111.The problem is when i try to load windows xp i get the error ACPI The BIOS needs to be updated it also tells you to press f7 to bypass this.I tried this but the computer crashes every couple of days.I would appriciate any help with this problem

Did you tried to flash the bios? with a newer version

i dont know where to get the right flash bios from.the bios is award modular v4.51pg so any help with this would be appriciated
