Bios problems

I just got a replacement motherboard from xfx and decided to update to the latest bios (p32). I got the new bios and the flash utility from the xfx website. It copied it, verified it, and said that everything was fine. When i restarted nothing happened. i just get a black screen, no logo, nothing.

Dealing with xfx cust. support is incredibly frustrating. they take forever to respond to messages, don't fully answer all questions, and they took over 4 weeks to get my first replacement board to me. So if there is anything i can possibly do to fix this problem i'd like to do that before having to deal with sending the board back to them again. any ideas would be great. thanks

No beeps either? Just blank nothingness?

Unless you forget an connection or something, the problem has to be the motherboard. Unless you didn't install the cpu properly and burnt it out or something.

You could try unplugging the power cord, remove the side panel, grounding yourself and removing the battery from the motherboard for five minutes then replace and try it
if that dont work try leaving it out all nite (power cord left out) if none of that works then the m/b is prob buggered
