BIOS update, loss of OC config.

Just a question about other peoples experiences.

I just flashed my BIOS and it lost all my overclock settings and also disabled my RAID setup. In fact, it made my DVD/CD drive the boot priority 1 and obviously then gave me "Boot MGR Missing" error as there was nothing for it to read.

Not a big deal as I just reset it all, but its never done that to me before after a BIOS flash/update

Is this normal or does it happen sometimes/sometimes not? Just more curious than anything.

Whenever a bios update is done, it resets all settings back to defaults. Always has, always will.

I swear I dont remember that ever happening in the past.

Oh well, no big deal. Just wanted to see what others said.
