BIOS update problem

It means either you have the file labeled incorrectly or you have the wrong BIOS or bios version :)

AND I ALMOST KILLED MY COMPUTER IF I PRESSED ENTER

I don't think pressing "Enter" would have done anything. You would've probably gotten another error message.

Well. I wont take any chances, because if it corrupts my mobo, I don't know how to make it operable again :( (maybe using clear CMOS or something like that)

Dang and here i was thinking you knew so much.... :P On a more serious not, it would help if we knew what mobo you're dealing with

And I know alot, bhut I donèt know if there is a BIOS reset chip on my mobo
Uhh well i can say with almost certainty that your mobo does indeed have a BIOS chip ... cuz that's um, where your BIOS information is stored

I know there a BIOS. Every board MUST have a BIOS, unless they're crazy enough to take it out. But I gaot a huge question: Can I chage my AMI BIOS to an AWD BIOS or I will blow myself up and I will get all smoked up?

Oh and Can I...Can I... press enter when I get that error and it could still work fine???
