I’m trying to update the bios on a b450 ds3h motherboard but the files that I’m getting from gigabyte aren’t working.
 
Which file did you get from gigabyte? Is your board v1 or v2?

Also can you please describe 'aren't working' from an attempt/process perspective.

The motherboard is v2. And the files aren’t being read by the motherboard but the board still recognizes the files.
 
Go through the Gigabyte website and download the App Center. From there, you can update BIOS. Just make sure you have the correct motherboard/BIOS chosen, or it will not work. The link below is for the motherboard I have, but I think it will apply to most Gigabyte products.
