How do you get into the Bios on Vista? I'm getting a 'sys fan' error and I want to go in and disable the fan monitoring so I wont get the error every startup, but I cant seem to find where that is. I've looked everywhere under the F2 setup. Help please? Thanks.
 
Oh... so how would I go into the hardware settings and disable whatever checks the fan on the MOBO? The fan is working fine and I'd rather not have it give me that error every startup...
 
Repeatedly tapping "Del" upon restart should bring you to the BIOS.

You'll have to look around under all the tabs and submenu's to
find something like "resume on error" and enable it, or something
to do with Hardware Monitoring maybe.

Not exactly sure, but there should be an option in there somewhere
that will sound relevant.
 
Ok... yeah I know there is a hardware monitoring setting that you can tell it to not worry about the fan, I just couldnt find it. I'll try that, thanks.
 
Depending on your brand of computer you might have to press the Del button, f1, f2 or f10. It's not the delete button all the time.
