So I have the strangest issue. I watched a video of a Big Daddy so I installed Bioshock again.
Everything worked fine I killed the first Big Daddy via Wrench slapping and saved and went to the movies.
Came back and the screen freezes when I get the start menu. At this point I had enabled the "compatible XP SP2" option.
So I disable that...game boots up fine I have sound on the start screen I load the game and I have no in-game sound. I exit and sound on the menu screen.
I enable SP2 option and I get a freeze @ the Main Menu again. Seems like I either can't play on Vista or I can play with no sound ^-^
Any ideas? I also tried some "cd fixes" but none worked same result happened.
Now before I saved though game worked FINE as was no issues at all. Even making a new game wont get me my sound back. I also tried patch 1.0 and 1.1
