Bit of help needed please.

I own a dell inspiron 1525,160 ram,dual core laptop.Will it cope with design software for t shirts (not the fun family,iron on stuff)but a reasonable quality one.I am new to this concept and any recomendations would be gladly recieved.How much do they cost?
