Bit Torrent

Hello. I have problem with bit torrent. After formating my PC i installed bit torrent and as i was having unfinished downloading files i downloaded the same torrent files and opened with torrent and as i know it should first check how much was downloaded and continue. But it didn't do that although i save them in the directory where the unfinished file is... It doesn't continue to download, it starts from 0% in the same folder... It is so weird... How can i fix it to start checking my files...??

Sorry, discussing of bittorrent software is not allowed in the forum whether or not it's being used for legit purposes. Heck, who reads the rules anyway?
