Bitttorrent prblems

ok, i am trying to get bittorrent to work on my computer. but it doesn't ever seem to work on this one. at my other house it works and i did not have to do anything but this one i do, i think.

i have two computer one has quest dsl (router/modem in one), on the other one i am using wireless internet from quest going through the router or w/e i don't know.

i am not behind a firewall on this computer but on the router maybe, if it is how to i check it and how to get it to let bittorrent download.

umm do i have to like set the ports to something, if so what

Well you need to forward port for your router to the destination computer.
1. Log into router (see manual, ip is prolly 192.168.1.1 or similar)
2. Look for advanced section
3. Look for port forwarding or similar
4. Give it some ports :)
