I'm having a hard time putting in the power supply cables into the components of the computer. First of all, what is the difference between cables with white plastic heads and black plastic heads?? Also, Some Powersupply cables came with my motherboard, what are these for?? Basically I'm just a mess with this stuff..:(

they should only fit into the things they were designed to, for example, the cd drives only take a certain while cord, and sata takes black cords. Just try the different connectors until they fit, just dont force anything it.

and the thing for your motherboard is probably a 20 to 24 pin converter, if the plug coming from the psu doesn't fill all the plugs on the mobo, use the thing that came with it in between

a 20 pin power plug will fit in a 24 pin socket.

still supposedly better to use the converter right? I know my mobo said it would run 20 pin but 24 was "recommended"
