Hey all,

I believe I need a new vid card. Right now I have a 8800GT Evga. I started up Black OPS and the game was running laggy already, just moving the cursor around was very slow, so I turned all the settings down to min. and I started playing, it played however it was some what choppy.

As for other spec's, I have a 780i SLI mobo w/ 4g Ram, Q6600, 620w psu. I thought it would run the game fine on low settings, but I was wrong.

Anyone have any suggestions to a new video card or additional hardware?

All advice is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Ok All,

How about this, if you play Call of Duty Black Ops on PC and you have no problems at all running the game "POST YOUR VID CARD".

Aastii, as for driver, I dont have the current driver the APR-11 edition but I have the previous release. I am kinda clueless cause I don't understand why it would run sketchy.

Download MSI afterburner and install it from here:

http://event.msi.com/vga/afterburner/images/MSIAfterburnerSetup210.zip

Open it. Now, right click your clock at the bottom right in your task bar and click task manager. Click the performance tab.

Now run black ops, and when you are getting poor performance, simultaneously press alt + tab to come out of the game.

If you check, you will have 3 graphs - 2 on Task Manager with CPU and Memory usage, and on MSI afterburner, look at the GPU usage graph. One of these should be pinned at 100%

Ok will do, thank you. It prob. wont be until tomorrow but I'll get it done. Just got back home and had a lil 2 much to drink :P.
