Black popups

My friend is having a problem with her computer. At first she started out with a virus that placed a dead link on her aim away message that leaded to a virus. The virus is spread when anyone else clicks on it. Along with this problem, she gets these black half screen popups randomly. How can I fix this? Thanks.

there are some virus that only activates once u click on it and some of them won't be active even u click on it coz it does it itself.best thing is to do a virus scan using Norton/pc-cillin. also do a Spybot S&D scan too. hopefully it will fix the problem.

Don't get Viruses :-D

If using a good antivirus doesn't help:
Backup all the data and reformat your hard drive, and reinstall your OS.
