black screen when turn power own

I was working on my laptop, while, the screen want black. after I turn it back on, it still black unable to hear other sound except computer is running. no window. try to using del to see the setup, unable to.

I wonder what the problem be, anyway what I can think of are
cable loss.
hard drive break down.

please help!
 
Do you hear any wierd sounds? If you open the case, is everything connected? Has it been hit recently? Try taking out all the RAM except one and booting with that. However, I would imagine that the PSU (Power Supply) has gone bad. Are you able to swap with another PSU and try it out?
