I came across a strange situation. I burned some songs on a brand name blank CD and always came up with an error message. I burned the song on a different application and got them all but when I played them on my stereo there was a thumping sound and it was almost like it was skipping but wasn't. I bought a good name blank CD and did the same thing and had no problems and the songs play great. Are some blank CD's defected?

I've had it too, My only explanation is that you didn't rip the music CD (with iTunes, WMP or something else)
