ive recently placed my older computer in a new case and all was working fine but this morning the screen will not come on. Ive checked that its in its slot correctly and i tried it on another screen. can u help?

well do you have anywhere you can test the montior/card i.e another rigs maybe your dads, maybe your friends

what woulkd you do though if the card work in another and if the card didn't work in another

well we can say the card is wokring ok, if we can determine if the monitor is working as well then we need to start looking elsewhere for the issue

i note you have a thread showing you rdram for this box (i assume you put the ram back correcly before experiencing the blank screen issues)

the screen worked on the other computer but i can't change graphics cards as they are different sockets

the computer isnt making the normal bleeps it does when it turns on
