Blown Computer

I smelled something burning, then my computer shut down, when I tried to turn it back on the fan turned on for a second and shut right off, replaced the power supply, but did the same thing anybody know what could be wrong?

if it was a bad psu it may have taken your motherboard with it.

did the same thing as blown another psu or fan turned a little?

look on the motherboard at the capacitors....see if any are bulging or popped...if they are...may have fried the motherboard
