alright, so just a blu-ray reader... perfect, thanks a lot!It is of value only if you want to watch blu-ray movies on your computer. If you do, then it is worth it, if not, then it isn't. The more expensive drives will write blu-ray disks as well as read them. Understand that the writeable BD disks are quite expensive and not very reliable for purposes of backup. If you want to watch blu-ray movies then buy one. If you are looking for backup, buy a second hard drive.
yeahMake sure the Blu-ray reader, is also a DVD writer/burner, too.

its alright, i dont need it to support all the DVD-stuff: ive already got 3 DVD-everything drives in this machineNice, would be better if it supports DVD-RAM, though...
