Blue Lines Down Screen

So i was on facebook and was deleting photos and suddenly my computer crashed and blue lines appeared all down my screen. I restarted my comp and they are still there. There is 4 sets of them and it looks like graphics card driver is gone or soemthing because the resolution has reset itself and when i try scroll down its all laggy and jumpy. Whats going on and how do i fix it?

edit: i rolled back the driver because it was saying that the graphics card wasnt starting and it didnt do any good. It might have made things worse. My card is an nVidia Geforce 8800 GTS

edit2: looks like updating to the lastest driver hasnt helped either.

looks like you may have a failing graphics card, tho if the thing got shifted, might make it do this, try reseating the gpu once? sometimes when the card comes out of slot, it can cause issues, otherwise it might need to go out for rma, but considering the age of the card, might have to just replace it...
