Blue Screen & Restarts

Hey,

Sometimes when running games for a long time or when an intense part of a game comes on I will get a blue screen and then it will restart the system. It even did this when I was trying to run 3DMark03... It went through about 7 or 8 tests and then it gave the blue screen and restarted.

I think it may be a cooling problem because the fan on the video card is broke. I am not sure though, any advice about what could be causing this? I posted my computer specs below... Thanks!

Motherboard: ASUS A7V133 Socket-A
Processor: AMD Athlon 1133 (Socket 462)
Video Card: NVidia GeForce4 Ti 4600 4X AGP
PSU: AHEAD SH-350 (+3.3V@28A, +5v@32A, and [email protected])
RAM: Infineon 256 MB - SDR DIMM & 256MB Samsung Cubig

Muy guesses are Video card, or RAM, replace you Vcard fan, since you should do that anyways, if the problem persist you prabaally have bad ram.

I dont know how to buy a fan to replace it... it was one of those built on fans... any suggestions?
see if you can find a VGA fan thats compatible with your card. like the Arctic Cooling VGA coolers.

the first and the last are the same just that the first one is priced less so id go with that one. it includes the thermal grease if thats what you mean by the liquid stuff. when you get it there should be instructions on how to install it and if it doesnt then you can just search how to apply thermal grease or how to replace VGA cooler on the internet. i couldnt tell you exactly how as ive never done it b4.

I ordered the thermaltake one, so I should be getting it soon...

Also, I was wondering about overclocking and if I could do it with my specs?

Thanks

1. open up the side case of ur computer and go in their with a vacuum cleaner

2.everybody lied to u..the fan has nothing to do with it

3.virus scan
