Blue Screen Startup Problem :-/

Hey Guys,

I seem to have a problem with my celeron 600 desktop. Seems that when i boot it up, i get a blue screen. it says the following:

STOP: 0x000000A5

The ACPI BIOS in this system is not fully compliant with the ACPI specifications. Please read the README.TXT for possible workarounds.

The BIOS in this system is not fully ACPI compliant. Please contact your system vendor to obtain an updated BIOS or the latest BIOS.

Can anyone help me fix this? I'm guessing i have to update the bios, but I have no idea where to start. All help is greatly appreciated. Thanks,

Read here for an alternative solution. If it doesn't help, you might try upgrading the BIOS.

thanks for the quick reply! I followed the instructions in the link, but it still doesn't seem to help. How can i go about upgrading my BIOS? Thanks again!

Search for the newest BIOS version on your mobo manufacturer's website. Usually you can find there instructions too on how to upgrade the BIOS.

Is this a problem? Or just something you want to deal with?
