Hey all,
Wondered if anyone had any ideas regarding this... Computer is an old Athlon64 1.8ghz, 512mb ram running windows XP Sp2.
I was going through some old games and came across X2 : the threat, and thought, since I'd never had the patience to really get into it, I'd give it a shot. Install goes fine, but after it installs its security nonsense (I remember this from years ago - sometimes it said I didn't have an original disk even when I did) it requires a restart. When the XP boot screen flashes up there's a quick flash of blue screen and the computer restarts.
Choosing to boot in the last known working configuration gets me back into XP, but obviously I can't play the game until I restart again and it does what it needs to do, and the process repeats.
Any ideas how to solve this?
Thanks
