Blue screen!!

Well, it's been a while since i have visited. I have been having a problem lately. I am getting the blue screen with memory dumping...
I don't know what i had installed that's causing this!
It all started when i was rendering in 3ds Max, it was taking alot of time since the picture had alot of lightning and stuff...and suddenly i got the screen. Then at later times i got it when i was playing fifa, or simply i was in Windows.
So can anyone suggest a solution cause i am waiting for my CD-Writer to get fixed in order to format the drive.

The error i get during BSOD is caused by win32k.sys mostly...but other times it is from nvidia or avg...
so any help?
 
I don't know about the win32k.sys but lately i have been getting the error related to the nvidia dll file since i have been getting them in games.
I think it is the nvidia driver that i recently installed. I rolled back the driver...put the old one back and i still get the error...I think the new driver's files are still there and they are being used. Is there any way tat i can clean all these files and start new?
BWT i tried with the intel onboard vga and i had no error.
 
This start happened to me and now my modem is broke so if the is any new hardware or software make sure it is installed correctly!
 
When you go back onto windows do you get a box popping up with

"The system recovered from a serious error"

or something like that?
 
No, nothing like that.
But now the latest event is that the video colors are all corrupted! This happened to me once when i installed the latest nvidia driver, i removed it and i think it was back to normal.
now it started with the old driver and installing the latest driver did not help!
 
Well i wasn't sure before but Yes, i got the thing that says the system has recovered from a serious error and the report inculdes:
C:\DOCUME~1\Sebouh\LOCALS~1\Temp\WER0ff4.dir00\Mini112405-01.dmp
C:\DOCUME~1\Sebouh\LOCALS~1\Temp\WER0ff4.dir00\sysdata.xml
 
check your system ram, thats normally the culprit when random blue screen errors occur.
also, if you're running a big overclock on your system it may have "gone bad". ive seen this before where an overclock will run well for a few months and will start to become unstable. if you are running a big overclock try backing off a little
 
It's an nVidia driver issue

I'd suggest removing the current driver completely, pop your card out and clean it with compressed air and then try reinstalling the last driver that worked correctly

Sounds like something was not properly uninstalled before you overlapped it with a different driver, or your card is having a hardware issue (possibly heat or dust)
