Bluetooth interrupts WiFi

I have a Dell Inspiron 6400 with Windows XP. The laptop has a very annoying flaw: every now and then in the middle of using the internet the connection breaks down and there's a small window telling the computer is searching for a Bluetooth connection. If I want to continue using the internet, I have to press cancel in the small window and refresh the web page. After this the connection works again normally for a few minutes until the same thing happens again.

The WiFi connection is not to blame; I have used another laptop with the same connection and it works without any problems. Also, switching Bluetooth off has no effect, because it switches itself on and keeps on cutting WiFi off!

What should I do? Is there anything else I could do, apart from reinstalling Windows? Any help would be appreciated!
