Blurry monitor

I have A CTX-PL7 monitor and a few months ago the screen went really blurry. It's hard to read lettering and I've tryed everything I know to adjust it but can't get it fixed. I have it set to 800x600 and 32 bit color. the monitor manual doesn't say how to reset it or fix it at all. please help. It don't know much about this stuff. thanks
 
It sounds like it will stay that way too. If you couldn't clear it up with the screen adjustments the monitor tube itself would be the problem there.
 
it's not necessairly the tube, first check the refresh rate make sure that is set correctly. 60hz is usually standard. Next if that doesn't work most CRT monitors have a little focus screw in the back, sometimes hidden under a lable. Try turning that to adjust the picture.
 
That's an odd one alright. I came across some time back. I thought I would add that iin here since the subject was brought up. Just don't try that while in a chat room. (zzzzz rrrr zzzzz rrrrr get out of here with that...:mad: arf! arf! :eek: ) :P
