have some DOS files i want to put on a cd and i want the cd to be bootable, how do i do this ??, tryed using nero, but its boot option only lets u add images.
What nero does is it uses a portion of the CD to emulate a boot floppy. That portion will be your A: drive once you've booted and your physical floppy drive will be B:. The rest of your CD will be like a regular CD so you'll need CD-ROM support via MSCDEX like normal to access it. Make a boot floppy with CD-ROM support. I usually use the Windows 98 boot floppy. Choose to make a bootdisk in Nero with that floppy in the drive. Nero will use it to make a bootable CD. The CD will then act like a Windows 98 boot floppy.
Alternatively if you want to use an image rather than a physical floppy disk I just happen to have an image of the Windows 98 boot floppy here: http://home.ripway.com/2005-5/305834/98boot.IMA
You can use it with Nero too. It's what I usually use with Nero because I don't have a floppy drive.
