boot errors

I previously had RedHat Linux and Win98 installed on the same hard drive with GRUB as my boot loader.
Then I formatted my HD and ran FDISK.
But when I reinstalled Win98 by itself, it still says:
GRUB Loading Stage15
GRUB Loading please wait
Error 17

Whats going opn!
 
Do you know anyone with an XP installation disk? Zero filling a drive to run it clean with fdisk is kind of an overnight job. As soon as the XP installer goes to work you are asked which partition you want XP to go on. At the same time the option to delete the current parition is there by pressing L and then D for delete and then canceling the installation.

I ran into that when a second hd was used for 98SE and Fedora Core 4. After replacing 98 with XP the drive ended up being loaned out where GRUB is coming up. XP's installer solved that fast.
